Security and privacy, in plain words.
Here you can read, briefly and without legalese, where Thekla keeps which data and what we do with it. The privacy policy (in German) is binding.
Where the data is stored
The Thekla app, which handles stamps, pickup calls and offers, runs on servers in Germany.
- This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages.
- Enquiries through our forms are stored by our email provider Brevo in the EU.
- Emails to [email protected] are forwarded to our inbox by Cloudflare.
No tracking, no cookies
This website sets no cookies and doesn't follow you across other sites. There are no ad trackers and no embedded third-party content, except the spam protection in the forms (see below).
We only see how often pages are visited as aggregated numbers, without cookies and without profiles.
What your guests need and what they don't
- No app. The card sits in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, which is already on the phone.
- No phone number. Pickup calls and offers arrive through the card in the wallet, not by text message.
- No account and no password with Thekla.
Protection against misuse
- Cloudflare Turnstile protects our forms against bots. It only loads when a form appears on screen.
- Before we contact you, you confirm your email address via a link (double opt-in). That way nobody can sign up other people's addresses.
- The connection to the website is always encrypted (HTTPS).
Having data deleted
Guests can remove their card themselves at any time using the card's menu in the wallet. So that we also delete the data on our side, a short email to [email protected] is enough.
If you contacted us through a form, you can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will then delete your details.
